ABOUT

OUR MISSION

kid-and-fish-tankFish keeping has been a hobby of mine since I was a child. I’ve always enjoyed being able to raise life and seeing fish thrive and lead their lives.

Fish keeping started as a fascination when I was young. The colors were amazing. Watching them swim and interact with each other was amazing. It was like looking into a whole different planet. My father was hesitant to allow me to have a fish tank at first, but eventually I wore him down. After he saw how responsible I was with the tank and how much I yearned to learn about my new underwater friends he began to help fund my hobby and took part in it himself.

Later the hobby turned into an addiction for me. I was encapsulated in keeping fish, adding new aquariums and learning about new innovations. It was at this time that I started to breed fish in order to sell them for means to support hobby. Later I started working for Congressional Aquarium. I wouldn’t work for pay … instead I worked for store credit in order to buy supplies and more fish.

In XXXX (YEAR) I bought Congressional Aquarium. I didn’t buy it just to make a profitable business. I bought Congressional Aquarium to share the joy and excitement of being in this hobby with everyone else. Congressional Aquarium exists to give it’s customers the same excitement and enjoyment that I experienced when I was young.

Stop by Congressional Aquarium today! Feel free to look around and talk to our experienced employees about their fish tanks and the passion they have for the hobby.
